Winter citrus salad

Ingredients:

  • 3 Blood oranges
  • 2 Ruby red grapefruit
  • 3 Navel oranges
  • 1 cup Pomegranate seeds

Instructions:

  1. Remove the ends of the oranges and grapefruit. Place one end flat on a cutting board and cut off the peel vertically, ensuring the white part is removed. Slice the fruit into 1/2 inch rounds following its natural curve and place on a serving plate. Pour any remaining juice from the board over the fruit. Top with pomegranate seeds before serving.
  2. Alternatively, you can wrap the platter with plastic wrap and refrigerate for up to 24 hours. Keep the blood oranges at the bottom to prevent them from coloring the other fruits.
