Wild rice salad

Ingredients:
- 1 cup Wild rice
- 1/4 cup Almonds, crushed or slivered
- 10 Cherry or Plum Tomatoes, sliced in half
- 3 sprigs Parsley, chopped
- 1 Scallion, chopped
- 8 Fresh mushrooms, sliced
Instructions:
- Prepare the rice following the instructions on the package (cooking time may differ depending on the type of wild rice). Drain if necessary, then refrigerate.
- After the rice has been cooled, mix in the remaining components and drizzle with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Include lemon juice or balsamic vinegar based on your preference.
