Tuna salad
Delicious and refreshing tuna salad packed with flavorful ingredients such as crunchy vegetables, tangy dressing, and protein-rich tuna. Perfect for a light and satisfying meal.
Ingredients:
- 1 6-ounce can tuna, drained
- 2 tablespoons pickle relish (dill or sweet)
- 1 hard-cooked egg, peeled and finely chopped (optional)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- kosher salt and black pepper
- 8 slices white bread
Instructions:
- Mix together the tuna, relish, and optional egg in a small bowl.
- Include the mayonnaise and parsley and mix well. Add 1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper for seasoning.
- Distribute the salad onto 4 pieces of bread, then top each with another slice of bread to make a sandwich. Cut the sandwiches in half before serving.
