Tomato and bread salad

Delight in the fresh flavors of juicy tomatoes and crunchy bread in this mouthwatering salad bursting with Mediterranean aromas.

Ingredients:

  • 3 medium tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
  • Kosher salt and freshly cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil
  • 1 cup cubed toasted bread or croutons
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella

Instructions:

  1. Cut the tomatoes into 1-inch cubes. Put them aside.
  2. Prepare the dressing by mixing the olive oil, vinegar, minced garlic, and salt and pepper in a big bowl. Combine the tomatoes and basil and mix well. Add the bread, mix, and transfer to a serving plate, topping with mozzarella.
