The ultimate cobb salad

Ingredients:

  • 3 3 eggland's best hard cooked and peeled eggs
  • 6 cup romaine lettuce leaves
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1/2 vidalia onion
  • 1 medium-size tomato
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1/3 cup blue cheese, crumbled
  • 450g boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 3/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions:

  1. Fry turkey bacon slices in a hot pan or microwave until they become crispy. Then, absorb excess oil by using a paper towel. Once they cool down, cut them into small pieces and keep them aside.
  2. Cook 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breast either on the stove over medium heat using a lightly greased pan or bake it in an oven at 180 °Cuntil fully cooked (typically 15-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the chicken breast). Once cooled, slice the chicken into thin pieces.
  3. Slice 3 of Eggland's Best Hard Boiled and Peeled eggs thinly.
  4. Prepare the vegetables: Dice the romaine lettuce, iceberg lettuce, and Vidalia onion; remove the seeds from the tomatoes before slicing them; thinly slice the green pepper, and slice the avocado. Keep all the prepared vegetables aside.
  5. Once all the ingredients are ready, either lay them out attractively on a large serving plate or gently mix them together in a bowl.
  6. Combine balsamic vinegar, olive oil, dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl and whisk them together.
