The folded pizza pie marinated chicken breast
Delight in the flavors of a folded pizza pie salad with tender marinated chicken breast. A burst of Italian-inspired tastes in every bite!
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup Italian seasoning blend
- 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh Italian parsley
- 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 910g boneless, skinless chicken breast, diced into 1/2- to 3/4-inch cubes
Instructions:
- Combine Italian seasoning mix, oil, vinegar, garlic, parsley, pepper, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a lidded bowl. Stir well to mix everything together. Place the chicken in the bowl, cover it, and refrigerate for 12 to 24 hours so that all the flavors can blend together.
- Preheat the oven to 230 °C.
- Place the chicken evenly on a baking sheet, pour 1/2 cup of water into the sheet, and bake until the chicken is fully cooked, which should take around 15 to 18 minutes.
- You can enjoy the cooked chicken in pita bread, flour tortillas, or on top of Caesar or mixed green salads.
