  • 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup chopped or caned tomato
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried hot chilli

Instructions:

  1. Start by heating the oil in a large skillet, followed by adding diced onion, garlic, and spicy red chili.
  2. Next, mix in tomatoes, salt, freshly ground black pepper, sugar, dried red chili flakes, cumin, and dried coriander. Allow the mixture to simmer. Then, introduce the okra and let it cook over low heat for about 30 minutes.
