Spicy cabbage salad

Delight in a zesty blend of fresh cabbage, fiery spices, and tangy dressing with this invigorating spicy cabbage salad. Perfect for a flavor-packed meal.

Ingredients:

  • 3 canned chipotle peppers in adobo, chopped, plus 1 tablespoon adobo sauce
  • 1/2 cup Mexican crema 
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil 
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon 
  • 2 teaspoons honey 
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 small head green cabbage 
  • 1 cup shredded carrots 

Instructions:

  1. Blend together the chipotles, adobo sauce, crema, oil, lemon juice, honey, and salt until smooth. Set aside
  2. Quarter the cabbage and remove the core. Shred the cabbage into thin strips using a knife or mandolin. Combine with shredded carrots in a large bowl. Pour the chipotle dressing over the vegetables and mix well. Cover and chill in the refrigerator until serving.
