Try our flavorful Smoked Whitefish Deviled Eggs, a delicious twist on a classic appetizer. The smoky whitefish adds a unique umami taste to the creamy egg filling. Perfect for any gathering!
Ingredients:
- 4 Hardboiled eggs
- 6 tablespoons Smoked whitefish salad (best quality, or homemade)
- 1 teaspoon Chopped fresh dill
- 1 teaspoon Prepared white horseradish (or to taste)
- 2 teaspoons Mayonnaise (optional)
Instructions:
- Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half vertically and remove the yolks into a bowl. Use a fork to crush them.
- Combine the whitefish salad with the mashed yolks. If the consistency appears too dense, incorporate mayonnaise to soften it slightly. Integrate the dill and horseradish based on personal preference, beginning with a small quantity, and mix thoroughly.
- Fill the egg white halves with the prepared mixture. If you want to be a bit fancy, use a piping bag. Garnish with a sprinkle of finely chopped dill or chives. Keep covered in the refrigerator until it's time to be served.
