Smoked trout salad

Ingredients:
- 1 (230g) package boneless smoked trout
- ½ cup sour cream
- ¼ cup nonfat plain strained yogurt, such as skyr or Greek
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- 1 tablespoon chopped red onion or shallot
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Zest and juice of 1/2 lemon
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- Pickled jalapeños for garnish
- Whole-grain crackers, apple slices & cucumber slices for serving
Instructions:
- Peel off the trout skin and throw it away. Mince the trout and put it in a medium bowl. Combine sour cream, yogurt, horseradish, onion (or shallot), parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, and pepper. Mix well. Decorate with pickled jalapeños and serve with crackers, apple slices, and/or cucumber slices, as preferred.
