Simple fruit soup with grand marnier

Treat your taste buds to a delightful blend of fresh fruits and a splash of Grand Marnier in this simple and elegant fruit soup. Perfect for a light and refreshing summer dish.

Ingredients:

  • 8 tablespoons sugar
  • 10 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup Grand Marnier
  • 6 cups Fruit Salad, see below
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • 6 cups assorted sliced fruit
  • 4 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 5 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons Grand Marnier
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Combine the sugar, lemon juice, and Grand Marnier in a mixing bowl. Stir until fully mixed. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes. Portion out the fruit salad into 6 wide, shallow bowls. Pour the Grand Marnier mixture over the fruit and serve immediately. Top with mint leaves for garnish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, mix the fruit gently with sugar. Add lemon juice and Grand Marnier, mix well. Let it rest for 10 to 30 minutes, either at room temperature for a warmer salad or in the refrigerator for a colder salad. Serve on 6 plates and garnish with mint leaves.
