Savory green apple salad

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 dash turmeric

  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon black/yellow mustard seeds

Instructions:

  1. Remove excess moisture from shredded Granny Smith apple. You can leave the skin on for a nice visual effect with the skin bits adding color to the apple flesh.
  2. Combine the shredded apple, ground peanuts, lime juice, and salt in a bowl. If peanuts are not an option, you can use an equal amount of almond powder without the need to toast the almonds beforehand.
