Potato and green bean salad with ale house dressing

Delight in the flavors of a rustic potato and green bean salad dressed with a tangy ale house dressing. Perfect for a hearty and satisfying meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Italian salad dressing mix
  • 1/4 cup ale style beer
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons malt vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt
  • 1 1/2 cups cherry tomatoes, cut in 1/2
  • 1/4 cup real crumbled bacon

Instructions:

  1. Mix together salad dressing packet, beer, mustard, vinegar, and olive oil in a sealed jar or container. Shake well; let it sit.
  2. Boil a pot of water. Put salt and 12 ounces of washed green beans into the boiling water and cook for 3 minutes. Drain and cool in a bowl of ice water.
  3. Mix potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, and bacon together. Add dressing and toss before serving.
