Pomegranate-apple salad with greek yogurt

Ingredients:

  • /2 cup plain low-fat Greek yogurt
  • teaspoon honey (optional)
  • /8 teaspoon orange-flower water (optional)
  • apple, cored, sliced
  • tablespoons pomegranate seeds

Instructions:

  1. You can find orange-flower water, a flavoring extract, in liquor stores, Middle Eastern markets, or in the cocktail-mixers or baking sections of select supermarkets.
  2. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Place almonds on a small rimmed baking sheet and toast them, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden brown, which should take about 4 minutes. Allow them to cool down.
