Plum salad with black pepper and parmesan

Delicious plum salad with a flavorful blend of black pepper and savory parmesan, a perfect balance of sweet and savory notes in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 2 Tbsp. sherry vinegar or red wine vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. honey
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper, plus more
  • 6 ripe red, black, and/or green plums, some thinly sliced, some cut into wedges
  • 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan or Pecorino, plus more for serving
  • 2 Tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • Flaky sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix vinegar, honey, and 1/2 tsp. pepper in a medium bowl until the honey is completely mixed. Place plums in the dressing and mix until they are covered. Sprinkle 1/4 cup Parmesan and gently mix again to spread it evenly in the salad.
  2. Move the plum salad to a wide bowl. Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top, add a drizzle of oil, and season with salt and additional pepper.
