Parmesan salad bowl
Indulge in the exquisite flavors of Parmesan Salad Bowl, a delightful medley of fresh greens, juicy tomatoes, and savory Parmesan shavings. Perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients:
- Mounded 1/2 cup freshly shredded Parmesan
- Pinch crushed red pepper
- 1 1/2 cups mixed greens
- 2 tablespoons bottled salad dressing
- 1/4 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 radish, sliced
- 4 blackberries
- 2 tablespoons crumbled feta
Instructions:
- Heat a 12-inch nonstick skillet over medium-low heat.
- Combine Parmesan and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Spread the mixture thinly in the skillet and cook until it turns light brown, melted, and bubbly, which should take around 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Take the skillet off the heat and let it cool for about 20 to 30 seconds. Use a rubber spatula to loosen the cheese circle by running it around the skillet's edge. Gently transfer the cheese to the interior of a small bowl (about 1 1/2 to 2 quarts in size), using the spatula to mold the cheese into the bowl's shape.
- Allow it to cool for a few minutes to set the shape. (You can keep it in the bowl until you're ready to serve.)
- Place the Parmesan bowl onto a plate and fill it with greens. Drizzle the salad with the dressing. Sprinkle with red onion, radish, blackberries, and feta cheese.
