Paige's italian salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream 
  • 2 tablespoons buttermilk 
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh dill
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika 
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 
  • Dash hot sauce 
  • 2 heads butter lettuce, cored and leaves separated
  • 2 cups chopped hearts of palm 
  • 1 cup quartered artichoke hearts 
  • 1/4 cup jarred sliced roasted peppers, drained and chopped 
  • 1/4 cup yellow cherry tomatoes, halved 
  • 6 slices prosciutto 
  • 1/4 cup shaved Parmesan 

Instructions:

  1. To make the dressing: Mix together the mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, dill, oregano, paprika, pepper, and hot sauce in a bowl until well combined.
  2. For putting the salad together: Place the lettuce on a serving platter. Pour approximately half of the dressing over the lettuce. Scatter the hearts of palm, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, cherry tomatoes, prosciutto, and thinly sliced Parmesan evenly over the lettuce. Serve the extra dressing on the side.
