Old-fashioned potato salad

Delight in the classic flavors of an old-fashioned potato salad, bursting with creamy textures, savory herbs, and a hint of tangy mustard.

Ingredients:

  • 6 eggs
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 4540g russet potatoes
  • 3 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 3 tablespoons dill relish
  • 5 tablespoons real mayonnaise
  • Freshly ground black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Cook the eggs in a big pot until hard-boiled. Remove from heat, let them cool, then peel and chop the eggs.
  2. Chop the celery stalks, and set aside along with eggs.
  3. Boil the whole potatoes in a large pot until they are fully cooked. Drain the water. Allow the potatoes to cool down, then remove the skin. Crush or mash the potatoes in a large bowl.
  4. Combine all other components, such as the eggs and celery, and blend well. Serve right away or chill until ready to serve.
