Old-fashioned potato salad
Delight in the classic flavors of an old-fashioned potato salad, bursting with creamy textures, savory herbs, and a hint of tangy mustard.
Ingredients:
- 6 eggs
- 4 celery stalks
- 4540g russet potatoes
- 3 teaspoons salt
- 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
- 3 tablespoons dill relish
- 5 tablespoons real mayonnaise
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Cook the eggs in a big pot until hard-boiled. Remove from heat, let them cool, then peel and chop the eggs.
- Chop the celery stalks, and set aside along with eggs.
- Boil the whole potatoes in a large pot until they are fully cooked. Drain the water. Allow the potatoes to cool down, then remove the skin. Crush or mash the potatoes in a large bowl.
- Combine all other components, such as the eggs and celery, and blend well. Serve right away or chill until ready to serve.
