Nancy's spinach salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 small onion
  • 1/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 large bag fresh spinach
  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • Several large mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 to 5 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 container fresh bean sprouts

Instructions:

  1. To prepare the dressing: Dice the onion in a food processor, combine with the rest of the ingredients excluding the oil, and mix well. Gradually incorporate the oil, then chill in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
  2. For the Salad: Combine all the components in a bowl and coat with the prepared dressing.
