Macaroni salad with tuna and bacon
Delight in a delicious blend of macaroni, savory tuna, and crispy bacon in this flavorful salad recipe. Perfect for a satisfying meal!
Ingredients:
- 1 box of elbow macaroni
- salt, to taste
- 6 slices of bacon
- 2 cans of tuna, drained
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 3 green onion, diced
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Boil the macaroni for slightly less time than indicated on the package, then strain, and keep aside. Season with salt as desired.
- Fry six pieces of bacon over medium-high heat for approximately 3 minutes on each side or until the bacon is crunchy. Place on a paper towel to absorb the excess oil, and set to the side.
- After the macaroni has cooled down, mix in two cans of tuna, chopped red bell pepper, chopped green onion, and half a cup of mayonnaise. Stir until all ingredients are fully mixed and season with pepper to taste. Present.
