Lettuce and tomato salad
Delicious lettuce and tomato salad bursting with freshness and flavor. Perfect for a light and healthy meal or as a refreshing side dish.
Ingredients:
- 1 large tomato
- 2 handfuls butter lettuce
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 4 grindings of sea salt
- 3 grindings of pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
Instructions:
- Rip the lettuce into pieces and put it in a bowl for serving. Slice the tomato in half vertically, then use a zigzag cut to make approximately 1-inch wedges. Place them into the bowl.Combine the mayonnaise, freshly squeezed lemon juice, salt, pepper, and sugar. Pour the mixture over the lettuce and tomato, and gently mix until fully combined. Enjoy with corn on the cob, uncomplicated seafood dishes, and other light summer meals.
