Italian green beans tomato salad

Indulge in the fresh flavors of Italy with this vibrant green bean and tomato salad. A perfect blend of crisp veggies and zesty dressing in every bite.

Ingredients:

  • 500 grams tomatoes
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 medium white onion
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • salt, pepper to taste
  • 1 clove garlic, grated or sliced

Instructions:

  1. Rinse and pat dry the green beans, then trim both ends of each bean and remove any coarse strings. Boil a pot of water, season with salt, and add the green beans. Boil the beans for approximately 15 minutes or until they are easily pierced with a fork. Drain and let cool before transferring them to a salad bowl.
  2. Clean and dry the tomatoes, then slice them while removing the tough stems. Add the tomato slices to the salad bowl.
  3. Peel and thinly slice the onion, and incorporate it into the salad bowl.
  4. Prepare the balsamic vinaigrette by mixing garlic, salt, pepper, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar until well combined. Drizzle the dressing over the salad ingredients and toss gently to coat. Serve the salad.
