Heirloom tomato and summer peach salad
Indulge in the vibrant flavors of ripe heirloom tomatoes and juicy summer peaches with this refreshing salad bursting with seasonal freshness.
Ingredients:
- 2 colorful heirloom tomatoes
- 2 fresh juicy, in season peaches
- 1 bunch fresh basil
- 1 small red onion
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Cut the tomatoes, peaches, and half of the basil bundle into small pieces and place them in a beautiful glass bowl.
- Dice the red onion into small pieces and include it as well.
- Pour some olive oil over the mixture and then season with sea salt and pepper.
- Mix everything together and allow the tomato juice to blend well with the olive oil for approximately 10 minutes.
- Present the dish at ambient temperature outdoors alongside great company, quality wine, and freshly made bread!
