Grilled tofu salad

  • One 400g (396g) package firm tofu, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons grapeseed or canola oil (or other high flashpoint oil)

Instructions:

  1. Use paper towels to press on the tofu and get rid of any extra moisture. Slice the tofu into 1-inch pieces.
  2. In a large skillet, heat oil over high heat. Once the oil is hot, gently place the tofu in the skillet in a single layer (be cautious as the hot oil might splatter). Cook each side for 1-2 minutes until they turn golden and crispy on at least 2-3 sides.
  3. Place the tofu on paper towels to remove excess oil.
