Grilled swordfish with mango salsa

Delight in the exquisite flavors of grilled swordfish paired with vibrant mango salsa. A perfect blend of smoky, savory, sweet, and tangy sensations.

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 swordfish steaks, about 100g / 3.5 oz. each
  • ½ mango, peeled and finely diced
  • 1 shallot, thinly diced
  • 1 small red chilli, deseeded and finely diced
  • 1 lime, zested and juiced
  • a handfuls coriander/cilantro or mint leaves, chopped
  • Baby salad leaves, to serve

Instructions:

  1. Combine the diced mango, finely chopped shallot, chilli, lime zest and juice, and chopped coriander in a small bowl. Set it aside.
  2. Coat the fish with some oil and season it with salt and pepper.
  3. Preheat a griddle pan or grill, then grill the fish for about 3 minutes on each side until it gets a nice charred texture and is cooked through.
  4. Present the grilled fish right away, garnished with the salsa and accompanied by a side of crisp baby salad greens.
