Grilled-fig salad with prosciutto

Delight in the perfect blend of sweet grilled figs and savory prosciutto in this delectable salad. A tantalizing combination for a burst of flavor.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 110g dried Black Mission figs, thinly sliced ( 2/3 cup)
  • 8 cups mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • 2 tablespoons torn mint leaves
  • 2 tablespoons chopped dill
  • 2 tablespoons snipped chives
  • 30g fresh pecorino, shaved

Instructions:

  1. Heat up the oven to 350°F;. Arrange the walnuts in a pie plate and bake until they turn golden, which takes approximately 10 minutes; allow them to cool down, then roughly chop them.
  2. Combine the vinegar with the oil in a big bowl and season it with salt and pepper. Include the figs, greens, parsley, mint, dill, chives, pecorino, and walnuts and lightly mix. Serve immediately.
