Greek salad chicken pita

Delight in the flavors of a Mediterranean classic with this Greek salad chicken pita recipe. Fresh ingredients and bold tastes combine for a truly satisfying dish.

Ingredients:

  • 450g tyson crispy chicken strips
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • 1 cup low fat plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 2 cucumbers, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, cut in half
  • ½ cup kalamata olives, pitted, cut in half
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 4 pita bread pockets, cut in half

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the garlic paste by mixing together garlic and oregano in a small bowl. Place the chicken on a baking tray and sprinkle with half of the garlic paste. Cook the Crispy Chicken Strips following the instructions on the package.
  2. While the chicken is baking, combine yogurt, lemon juice, cucumbers, and the remaining garlic paste. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
  3. Once the chicken has cooled down, cut it into smaller pieces. Fill the pita pockets with the chicken, yogurt sauce, tomatoes, olives, and peppers.
