Grandma's 20-minute hawaiian tofu salad

Ingredients:
- 2 cloves garlic, finely grated
- 3 stalks green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons good quality soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons good quality Japanese rice vinegar
- 1 teaspoon good quality toasted sesame oil
- 1 450g basket cherry tomatoes, cut in half
- 1 avocado, cubed
- 1/2 of a 400g silken tofu, cubed into 1/2" squares
- 1/2 small carrot, peeled and grated
Instructions:
- Warm up vegetable oil in a small pan over medium heat and sauté garlic until it becomes fragrant.
- Take the pan off the heat and transfer the garlic-infused oil into a medium heat-resistant bowl.
- Mix in soy sauce and chopped green onions, stir well. Promptly incorporate rice vinegar and sesame oil, and stir again.
- As the dressing cools down, prepare the salad components.
- Arrange the salad ingredients in the specified order, then pour the dressing on top.
- Present and savor right away!
