Fennel and orange salad

Ingredients:
- 1 orange
- 1 large bulb fennel, halved, cored and thinly sliced (about 2 cups), plus fennel fronds, for serving
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons white wine vinegar
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
- Start by removing the peel and white pith from the orange by cutting in a circular motion with a small sharp knife. Cut the orange in half lengthwise, then slice it into semi-circles. Move the slices into a medium-sized bowl. Include the fennel, oil, vinegar, 1 teaspoon of salt, and a bit of freshly ground pepper; mix well to cover. Present by adding a sprinkle of fennel fronds on top.
