Ingredients:
- ¼ cup toasted sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons tamari
- 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
- 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hot chili oil
- ½ teaspoon sugar
- 3 blood oranges, peeled
- 3 navel oranges, peeled
- 3 Cara Cara oranges, peeled
- 2 avocados, sliced
- 1 red Fresno chile, thinly sliced
- 1 small shallot, thinly sliced
- ¼ cup torn fresh mint
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro leaves
Instructions:
- Combine sesame oil, tamari, sherry vinegar, balsamic vinegar, chili oil, and sugar in a small bowl and whisk until well mixed, about 20 seconds. Set the mixture aside.
- Slice the oranges horizontally into thin 1/4-inch slices. Arrange the orange and avocado slices evenly on 8 salad plates, layering them alternately. Garnish the salads with slices of chile and shallot. Pour 1 tablespoon of the vinaigrette over each salad; top with mint and cilantro leaves.
