Crunchy broccoli bacon salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup raisins
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 2 large heads broccoli
  • 1 small red onion
  • 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper, or to taste

Instructions:
