Cole slaw

Tangy cole slaw with a crunchy mix of cabbage, carrots, and mayo dressing. Perfect for summer BBQs or as a side dish for fish tacos.

Ingredients:

  • 2270g bagged coleslaw mix with carrots
  • 2 cups sugar 
  • 1/2 cup vinegar 
  • 2 heaping serving spoons salad dressing spread, such as Miracle Whip 
  • 1 tablespoon celery seeds
  • 1 small or 1/2 large onion, diced

Instructions:

  1. Mix together the coleslaw mix, sugar, vinegar, salad dressing, celery seeds, and onions in a big bowl until well combined, ensuring the sugar and salad dressing are evenly distributed. Allow the coleslaw mix to soak up the dressing flavors, then strain before serving.
