Citrus salad with tarragon

Tangy citrus flavors meet aromatic tarragon in this vibrant salad. A refreshing and zesty taste experience that is sure to tantalize your taste buds.

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup (packed) fresh tarragon leaves, plus more for serving
  • 4 blood oranges
  • 4 clementines
  • 2 navel oranges
  • 2 tangerines

Instructions:

  1. Mix together sugar, 1/4 cup of chopped tarragon, and 1/4 cup of water in a container, close the lid tightly, and shake until the sugar is fully dissolved. Pour the tarragon syrup through a fine sieve into another container or small bowl; remove the tarragon leftovers.
  2. Using a knife, peel off the skin and white parts from blood oranges, clementines, navel oranges, and tangerines; throw away the removed parts. Cut the citrus fruits into 1/4-inch thick slices. Place the citrus slices on a plate, drizzle them with some tarragon syrup (if the citrus is already sweet, you might not need to use all the syrup), and garnish with additional tarragon leaves.
  3. The syrup can be prepared a day in advance. Store it covered in the refrigerator.
