Citrus salad with tarragon
Tangy citrus flavors meet aromatic tarragon in this vibrant salad. A refreshing and zesty taste experience that is sure to tantalize your taste buds.
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup (packed) fresh tarragon leaves, plus more for serving
- 4 blood oranges
- 4 clementines
- 2 navel oranges
- 2 tangerines
Instructions:
- Mix together sugar, 1/4 cup of chopped tarragon, and 1/4 cup of water in a container, close the lid tightly, and shake until the sugar is fully dissolved. Pour the tarragon syrup through a fine sieve into another container or small bowl; remove the tarragon leftovers.
- Using a knife, peel off the skin and white parts from blood oranges, clementines, navel oranges, and tangerines; throw away the removed parts. Cut the citrus fruits into 1/4-inch thick slices. Place the citrus slices on a plate, drizzle them with some tarragon syrup (if the citrus is already sweet, you might not need to use all the syrup), and garnish with additional tarragon leaves.
- The syrup can be prepared a day in advance. Store it covered in the refrigerator.
