Chicory salad with smoked salmon

Ingredients:

  • tablespoons crème fraiche
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • Kosher salt, freshly ground pepper
  • /2 small shallot, thinly sliced
  • cups chicories, such as endive, radicchio or frisée, torn into 2” pieces
  • ounces oz. hot smoked salmon, flaked
  • tablespoon chopped chives
  • teaspoon poppy seeds

Instructions:

  1. Combine crème fraiche, olive oil, and white wine vinegar in a small bowl; season with salt and pepper and keep it aside.
  2. Mix shallot and chicories in a large bowl, pour dressing over them and season with salt and pepper. Serve on plates, top with smoked salmon, and garnish with chives and poppy seeds.
