Chickpea salad

Then, put them in a pot with 1/2 cup of water and bring to a boil for 5 minutes.After draining the chickpeas, set aside the liquid.Prepare the dressing by combining minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.Mash 1/4 cup of chickpeas in a bowl, then mix in the remaining chickpeas and the dressing until well combined.Drizzle olive oil over the chickpeas and sprinkle with cumin.For a spicy kick, you can add chopped green chili according to your preference.Serve with pita bread or as a delicious side dish to accompany your grilled meats or chicken.
