Charred tomato and scallion salad

Ingredients:
- 3 beefsteak tomatoes, cut into 1/2-inch slices
- 1 bunch scallions, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 lemon, halved
Instructions:
- Heat up an outdoor grill or grill pan until it reaches high temperature.
- Mix the tomatoes and scallions in a bowl with the oil, salt, and pepper. Put them on the grill and cook until they have a charred appearance, about 2 to 3 minutes on each side.
