Caprese salad with heirloom tomatoes & burrata

Indulge in the vibrant flavors of a classic Caprese salad featuring ripe heirloom tomatoes and creamy burrata cheese. Perfect for a summer fiesta!

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 cups baby arugula
  • 4 cups sliced heirloom tomatoes
  • 110g burrata, sliced
  • ½ cup basil chiffonade (see Tip)
  • ¼ teaspoon flaky sea salt, such as Maldon

Instructions:

  1. Blend together oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Mix arugula with 1 tablespoon of the dressing in a separate small bowl.
  2. Arrange the dressed arugula on a serving plate. Artfully place sliced tomatoes and burrata on top of the arugula. Garnish with basil and sea salt.
