Caprese salad
Indulge in the classic flavors of a fresh Caprese salad. Juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella, fragrant basil, and a drizzle of balsamic glaze create a mouthwatering culinary experience. Taste the freshness!
Ingredients:
- 4 handfuls fresh arugula leaves
- 2 Heirloom Tomatoes, thickly sliced
- 4 pieces buffalo mozzerella
- 1 bunch fresh basil leaves, torn
- 1 pinch kosher salt
- 4 dashes extra virgin olive oil
Instructions:
- Arrange some arugula on four plates as a base.
- Cut tomatoes into thin slices, about a quarter-inch thick, and place four slices on the arugula on each plate.
- Place a generous portion of creamy buffalo mozzarella on top of the tomatoes. There's no need to hold back.
- Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil over the salads and lightly season with salt.
- Complete the dish by tearing some fresh basil leaves and scattering them over each plate. (Feel free to be generous with the basil too.)
