Broccoli salad
Delicious broccoli salad recipe. Packed with fresh veggies, crunchy nuts, and tangy dressing. Perfect balance of flavors and textures. Ideal for a healthy meal or as a side dish.
Ingredients:
- 6 slices bacon, cooked crisply and crumbled
- 2 broccoli heads or 8 cups
- 1/2 red onion, sliced very thin
- 2/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
- Salt and freshly ground pepper
Instructions:
- Slice the broccoli into small pieces. Quickly boil in salted water until almost cooked, approximately 20 seconds. Transfer to a bowl filled with ice. Let them cool down. Remove excess water and set aside.
- Mix together the rest of the components thoroughly. Gently add the broccoli. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
