Broccoli salad

Delicious broccoli salad recipe. Packed with fresh veggies, crunchy nuts, and tangy dressing. Perfect balance of flavors and textures. Ideal for a healthy meal or as a side dish.

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices bacon, cooked crisply and crumbled
  • 2 broccoli heads or 8 cups
  • 1/2 red onion, sliced very thin
  • 2/3 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon celery seed
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Slice the broccoli into small pieces. Quickly boil in salted water until almost cooked, approximately 20 seconds. Transfer to a bowl filled with ice. Let them cool down. Remove excess water and set aside.
  2. Mix together the rest of the components thoroughly. Gently add the broccoli. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper.
