Broccoli-cranberry salad

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup canola mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 5 1/2 cups chopped broccoli florets (from 1 large head)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion, rinsed under cold water
  • 1/2 cup sweetened dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup chopped toasted walnuts

Instructions:
