Ingredients:
- 4 tuna steaks
- 1/4 cup olive tapenade
- 1 tablespoon capers, drained
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, quartered
- 1 cup frozen French cut green beans, thawed
- 2 tomatoes, quartered
- 1 (15-ounce) can sliced potatoes
Instructions:
- Make an incision along the side of the tuna steaks to create a pocket; set them aside.Mix together olive tapenade, minced garlic, and capers in a bowl. Fill the pocket in the tuna steaks with the olive mixture and use toothpicks to secure the opening. Put the stuffed tuna steaks in a large sealable plastic bag along with the salad dressing. Remove excess air from the bag, seal it tight, and double bag to prevent any potential leaks. Allow the tuna to marinate in the refrigerator for 1 to 3 hours.Take out the tuna from the marinade and let it reach room temperature, approximately 20 minutes. Dispose of the marinade.Preheat a grill pan with some oil over medium-high heat. Cook the tuna in the grill pan for 3 to 4 minutes on each side until it is properly cooked. Ensure not to overcook beyond medium doneness to prevent the tuna from becoming dry. Once cooked, remove from the grill pan and set aside.Arrange a bed of salad mix on a large serving platter. Decorate with boiled egg slices, green beans, tomato wedges, and sliced potatoes. Take out the toothpicks from the tuna and place the tuna steaks on top of the greens.
