Basic tomato & balsamic salad

Delicious tomato & balsamic salad combining fresh flavors with a sweet tangy balsamic dressing. Perfect for a light and refreshing meal.

Ingredients:

  • ¼ cup balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ¾ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 4 cups grape tomatoes (540g), halved
  • ½ cup thinly sliced white onion
  • ⅓ cup chopped fresh basil or parsley

Instructions:

  1. Combine vinegar, oil, salt, and pepper by whisking them together in a big bowl. Mix in tomatoes, onion, and basil (or parsley) until well combined. Chill in the refrigerator, stirring occasionally, for a minimum of 1 hour.
