Bar salad

Delight in the freshness of our Bar Salad, featuring crisp greens, vibrant vegetables, and a zesty dressing. Perfect for a light and flavorful meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup celery, rinsed. peeled and cut on the bias
  • 1/2 cup carrot, peeled, cut in half and cut on the bias
  • 1/2 cup cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1/4 cup country ham, cut into match sticks
  • 1/2 cup Gouda, cut into match sticks
  • 1 cup fuji apples, cut into match sticks
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced shallot
  • 1/4 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil or other non flavored oil
  • kosher salt and fresh ground pepper
  • 1/8 cup flat leaf parsley leaves

Instructions:

  1. Mix together the celery, carrot, ham, chicken, cheese, and apples in a mixing bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the mustard, vinegar, sugar, shallot, and Worcestershire sauce. Season with a bit of salt and pepper. Slowly pour in the oil while whisking continuously. Continue whisking until the mixture is fully combined and emulsified.
  3. Add salt and pepper to the salad, then sprinkle parsley on top. Mix everything together with the prepared dressing and serve.
