Baked caprese salad

Ingredients:
- 4 Roma tomatoes, sliced into thick rounds
- 1 cup shredded Mozarella
- 1/2 cup basil, sliced into very thin ribbons
- balsamic vinegar, for drizzling
- salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
- Apply a thin layer of oil on a baking sheet and place tomatoes in straight lines. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place mozzarella in a stack over each tomato slice.
- Preheat the broiler in your oven. Bake tomatoes and mozzarella until the mozzarella is bubbly and lightly browned.
- Move tomatoes to a dish and pour olive oil, balsamic vinegar and additional salt and pepper if preferred.
