B-l-t salad

Delight in a delectable B.L.T salad bursting with crispy bacon, juicy tomatoes, and fresh lettuce, drizzled with a tangy vinaigrette dressing.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups cups green leaf lettuce, torn into bite size pieces
  • 2 cups arugula
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 medium Fuji apple or green apple, halved and thinly sliced
  • ¼ of a medium red onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons crumbled blue cheese
  • 4 teaspoons chopped pecans. toasted
  • 2 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • 4 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

  1. Place leafy green lettuce, rocket, tomatoes, crisp apple slices, and thinly sliced red onion on four individual salad plates. Scatter crumbled blue cheese and chopped pecans on top.
  2. To make the dressing, mix vinegar, olive oil, honey, salt, and pepper in a jar with a lid. Shake vigorously to blend well. Drizzle the dressing over the prepared salads.
