Veggie Focaccia

This Veggie Focaccia is a delightful bread that's topped with a colorful assortment of vegetables. It's perfect as a side dish or a snack and fills your home with a beautiful aroma as it bakes.

Ingredients:

  • 500g flour
  • 300ml water
  • 7g yeast
  • 10g sugar
  • 10g salt
  • 50ml olive oil
  • 100g cherry tomatoes
  • 100g zucchini
  • 100g bell pepper

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, yeast, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add warm water and olive oil to the mixture and knead until smooth and elastic.
  3. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat the oven to 220°C.
  5. Once the dough has risen, stretch it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  6. Chop the zucchini and bell pepper into small pieces, and halve the cherry tomatoes.
  7. Evenly distribute the chopped vegetables on top of the dough.
  8. Drizzle a little more olive oil on top and sprinkle with salt.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
