Vegetable Focaccia

A deliciously fluffy and savory vegetable focaccia made with freshly selected ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 500g flour
  • 300ml water
  • 15g salt
  • 7g yeast
  • 100g olive oil
  • 150g mixed vegetables (carrot, zucchini, and bell pepper)

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and 50g of olive oil to the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  6. Once risen, punch down the dough and spread it onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
  7. Dice the carrot, zucchini, and bell pepper and mix them together with the remaining olive oil.
  8. Spread the vegetable mixture evenly over the dough, pressing them slightly into the surface.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serve warm.
