Ingredients:
- 500g flour
- 300ml water
- 10g yeast
- 10g salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 carrot
- 1 zucchini
- 1 bell pepper
- 2 cloves garlic
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the flour, yeast, and salt.
- Gradually add warm water and olive oil to the dry mixture, stirring until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- While the dough is rising, chop the carrot, zucchini, bell pepper, and garlic.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and spread it into a greased baking tray.
- Sprinkle the chopped vegetables on top of the dough and gently press them in.
- Cover the tray with a cloth and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 220°C (430°F).
- Bake the focaccia for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve warm.
