Ingredients:

  • 500g flour
  • 100g grated carrot
  • 50g finely chopped onion
  • 300ml water
  • 10g yeast
  • 10g sugar
  • 10g salt

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, grated carrot, chopped onion, sugar, and salt.
  2. In a separate bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the yeast mixture to the dry ingredients and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and elastic, about 10 minutes.
  4. Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  6. Punch down the dough and shape it into a loaf or rolls as desired.
  7. Place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and let it rise for another 30 minutes.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  9. Let cool before slicing.
