Ingredients:
- 500g flour
- 200g carrot, grated
- 100g potato, mashed
- 1 teaspoon instant yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 250ml warm water
- 50g butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, grated carrot, and mashed potato.
- In a separate bowl, mix the warm water with instant yeast and sugar. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the flour mixture.
- Combine all the ingredients and knead the dough for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the dough with a cloth and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions to shape into buns.
- Place the buns on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Allow them to rise for another 30 minutes.
